Carla Peterman,
1999 Rhodes Scholar and Howard University senior, has earned the
right to claim a bond with dozens of distinguished alumni and the
first African-American Rhodes recipient, professor Alain Locke, who
taught philosophy at Howard from 1912 to 1953. She is the 1990s
incarnation of a world leader in-the-making; an intellectually
involved, energetic and well-rounded young person young with a
passion for making the world a better place. |
